downton abbey edith crawley that's a really good contained bitchpls face also okay evelyn/edith seems like a very nice crackship like they are both good people with good faces but what has always nagged me is how do y'all work around the fact that evelyn is one of the only people in the universe who know edith wrote the letter to the embassy? (a detail which is - in itself - often forgotten or excused idk why i mean i love edith but that was a super bitchy move which someone was ~less bitchy than what mary's done to her hm and sometimes i think the show forgets itself because wow there was a lot of confliction when p gordon popped up but anyway) and um evelyn's a super moral person from what we've seen and that would in theory give him a less than great assessment of edith's actions actions which she has yet to show any remorse for or even apologize about? so i'm just wondering how it works logistically you know?? or am i putting too much thought into a crackship probably CONTINUE TO ENJOY IT THE GIFS ARE GREAT I JUST don't understand it on some levels oops (but god look at what i've shipped)
